World Adaptation Science Programme (WASP) Chair Dr Youssef Nassef spoke at the valedictory session of the sixth Adaptation Futures conference on 8 October. He announced that the seventh Adaptation Futures conference would be hosted by Canada in October 2023.
Manjeev Singh Puri, (Distinguished Fellow, TERI), Anand Patwardhan (University of Maryland), Nitin Desaichairman (TERI), Georgina Cundill Kemp (IDRC) and Coleen Vogel (University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg) joined the session and shared their understanding of the key takeaways from this conference and ideas for the upcoming conference.
Patricia Fuller (Ambassador for climate change in the Government of Canada) and the Adaptation Futures 2023 organization team also shared their vision for the Adaptation Futures conference in 2023.
