making science work for climate adaptation

Engage

WASP climate adaptation research aims to inform action, be forward-looking, and capture not only what research is needed, but also how it needs to be carried out. Key questions researchers should ask themselves are: What are the research priorities in the short term versus the medium term? What are the big unknowns? What are the areas where gaps can be addressed relatively quickly?

Adaptation research should also reflect how the structure and focus of the scientific community have evolved over the past 10 years and map out the key plans and priorities. It should also provide opportunities for research funders to engage with researchers.
