The WASP supported 2023 edition of the Adaptation Gap Report will be launched in a virtual press conference in the lead up to the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). The launch event will take place on Thursday, 2 November 2023 at 13:00 (EAT).
The report provides an update on the global status and progress of the adaptation progress across three elements: planning, financing, and implementation. The 2023 edition will provide a more in-depth finance assessment chapter and include a thematic deep-dive chapter on loss and damage.
